Calmira Shell Themes

These are some VirtualBox VHDs of Windows 3.1 running various versions of the Calmira shell.

Included are:
  • Calmira r2.2 W95 Shell (Basic features)
  • Calmira r3.1 W95 Shell (Extended features)
  • Calmira r3.6 Longhorn-Vista Style Shell (LoRes display)
  • Calmira r4.0b XP Style Shell (LoRes display, won't load Calmira shell on startup)
If you load better VGA drivers in Windows 3.1 to fix the poor display in the Longhorn and XP versions then they could present well.

A hobbyist experiment that doesn't seem to have gone anywhere, but interesting to look back on.
